Morning Tea
Pre-service checklist
Come to the Church about 9.30am it takes about 30 minutes to prepare morning tea. It is best for two people to do morning tea.
Assist for kids ministry
Fill up the White benchtop urn and turn to high. When it boils, return to the lowest setting (You may need to come out to the kitchen after worship to turn it down. Remember to turn it back up to high when you go out after the service, so that it is hot enough when people come out).
Arrange paper cups, tea bags, instant coffee, stirring sticks and sugar, on the counter.
Coffee percolator
Biscuits will be provided for morning tea.
Setup
At approx 11.20 head out from service to setup for morning tea.
Open the roller door serving hatch
Place table cloths on serving table (found in draw in kitchen), fill serving jugs with milk and place on service table along with paper cups, tea bags, instant coffee, stirring sticks, sugar, spoons and two empty bowls for disgarded teabags and stirrers.
Make sure chairs and tables are in place
After morning tea
Collect all plates, wooden stirrers, sugar bowl and milk jugs. Throw out used tea bags, stirrers.
Wash up all cups, plates and cutlery in the dishwasher if possible. Otherwise, wash(using hot water and detergent) and dry up the crockery and cutlery and put away in the drawers in cupboards.
Wipe down all surfaces- the tables in the hall and the kitchen benches
Sweep the floor in the kitchen - the broom is beside the cupboard near the double doors
Turn off the white urn and the coffee percolator. Empty coffee grounds onto the garden, empty the water and rinse out percolator.

- Cut up a small tray of fruit (provided in fridge) for KidzCity Jnr, cover with GladWrap and play on bench above KidzCity Jnr cupboard (in kitchen) for helper to collect.
- For KidzCity, fill jugs with water and place on tray with plastic ups which is found bench along with two packets of biscuits (unopened). The kids helper will bring cups and jugs to be washed after they have finished. Cups go into the dishwasher, jugs will need to be hand washed

- Fill the coffee percolator to 30 cups (halfway between 25 and 35 on the indicator level).
- Add one sachet of coffee to the top filter section
- Ensure lid is replaced securely.
